These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your use of the ReMac applications for iPhone and Mac and the related ReMac service (together, “ReMac” or the “Service”). By downloading, installing, or using ReMac, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
ReMac lets you view and control a Mac you own or are authorized to use from your iPhone. Connections over your local network (LAN) are free. Connections that route over the internet through ReMac’s cloud relay require an active subscription (see “Subscriptions” below). The cloud relay is in active development, and connection quality over the internet can vary with network conditions.
ReMac uses Sign in with Apple to associate your iPhone and Mac with the same owner. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the device and Apple Account you use with ReMac, and for all activity that occurs through your devices.
Cloud relay access is offered as an auto-renewable subscription, “ReMac Cloud,” with the following options:
Both options include a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. The following terms apply to auto-renewable subscriptions purchased through the App Store:
Local-network (LAN) use of ReMac does not require a subscription.
You agree to use ReMac only with computers you own or are authorized to access, and only for lawful purposes. You agree not to: use the Service to access systems without authorization; interfere with or disrupt the Service or relay infrastructure; or attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or circumvent the Service except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
If you obtained ReMac through the App Store, your use is also subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Where those terms and these Terms conflict regarding App Store distribution, Apple’s terms control for that purpose.
ReMac is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. The cloud relay is in active development; we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular level of performance.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReMac and its developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where a different mandatory law applies to you as a consumer.
